ZYPHO iZi transfers heat from the shower’s waste water to the incoming cold mains supply. This preheated water is then directed to either the shower mixer, the water heater or, preferably both - reducing energy consumption from 25% to 39% - Improving Energy Efficiency. Every three showers, one is for free.
Zypho® iZi has several installation options - see range - with efficient waste trap filters. Zypho® iZi requires minimal maintenance and can be installed in new or retrofitted buildings.

PREVENTION OF LEGIONELLA The interesting design of the Zypho®S|im minimizes the risks of Legionella:
The drain water never stays inside the unit for a long time, as its construction ensures that the water is drained at the end of each shower. After showering, the water cools down to less than 25ºC, as recommended by the WHO, and the European Working Group on Legionella Infections. Zyhpo systems are installed relatively close to the shower taps to minimize the distance between the unit and the shower valve.
MAINTENANCE The performance and guarantee of the Zypho® S|im require the installation of the respective valves and filters. Zypho® Heat Recovery Units have been designed in such a way that they do not require maintenance efforts. They must be installed with the Zypho® valve. Periodic cleaning is recommended to optimize efficiency. Use a non-corrosive drain cleaner or a water jet. We recommend the ZYMN00000J1 water jet brush.
